Connect app installed but it is not opening

I have created an app for jira.I was able to upload the app descriptor successfully.But the app is not getting opened in jira.When I try to run the app on a browser it is working properly.I created the app using json,html(2 files),python(flask framework).Should I link any python flask client library in the html file or is there any thing I should do in order for the app to work properly.

Have you set a correct baseUrl in your atlassian-connect.json file? If not, this will work in browser, but not in jira.
