We currently use Jira Service Management along with Jira's built-in mail relay to send emails from our helpdesk address (helpdesk@companyname.com). However, we'd like to transition this relay to Microsoft 365 to take advantage of features like enhanced spam detection. Currently, helpdesk@companyname.com is whitelisted, but we aim to better integrate Microsoft 365 into our setup.
My question is: Is it possible to configure multiple outgoing mail servers in Jira? For example, could this be achieved using Microsoft 365 connectors or other methods?
We manage multiple projects within Jira and haven’t been able to locate a specific setting for this. Does anyone have guidance on how to achieve this, or is it simply not supported?
Any insights or experiences with similar setups would be greatly appreciated!
