We have a jira service desk server and we use 3rd party email providers like gmail(inbound) and sendgrid(for example, outbound). Everything works fine except that:
some of our customers send emails to our Gmail address, we received the email(didn't open it manually), jira marked them as 'read' and created a customer user automatically, but no issue was created.
we guess that there is a spam filter inside jira SD which need configuring. so how should we configure it or disable it?
Configuration of the JSD mailhandler is sadly limited. You might have to use a different mailhandler (addon) such as JEMH (Jira Enterprise Mail Handler).
There are a suggestion out to add this feature to JSD: jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDSERVER-973
