Configure fields in an issue type affects other issue type's configuration

Hello,

I am working on a Company Managed Project. I have created a custom issue type. Whenever I change the fields that I would like to see to it, the fields are updated in the Task issue type as well. How can I configure each issue type's fields independently, please?

Hi @zacharoula_brinia 

You will need to go to your screen setting and create a new Screen Scheme for the custom issue type. Once that is done you can change the layout without affecting the other issue type.

And create a new screen for that screen scheme as well

I second this answer, screen schemes are the way to go here.
