Welcome to the community. All you need is to add "Sub-task" issue type setup in your JSM project. Once completed, you should be able to create sub-task after the parent issue is created.

Thank you. Yes, it will work for JSM tickets... NOTE, once customers create the tickets in your JSM project, your agent can then create the sub-task for those tickets. Customers will not be able to create sub-task.
