Hi Community,

i have following szenario.
I want to check a Objecttype = Zertifikate and the attribute: Duedate
also in the Objecttype i have a Project Link to the correct Service Management Project.

Now i want to setup a automation rule...
cheing every day which duedate is overdue and i want to send a service request at the project which need to update the certificate...

im creating a lookUpObject and i can see in the logs that the project is okay.
but i always get error messages and he is getting a error:

Cannot find the project with key

and if i am fetching the key i receive a error message that says:

Specify a valid project ID or key (project)

What i do:

Action: Create new Issue:
Project:  {{Zertifikat.Projektname}} <- i ve put in the smartvalue for the dynamic Project.
Or the Zertifikate.Projektkey

has anyone an idea for me?
Thanks a lot
KS

Hi @Karl Szobolovszky

Whenever you ask for help with an Automation Rule it will help us to help you if you provide:

1. what type of project is this (e.g., company-managed, team-managed, etc.),

2. images that show your complete rule.

3. images showing the details of any relevant actions/conditions/branches.

4. images showing the Audit Log details for the rule execution.

5. Explain where the issue is.

These questions are not for not willing to help, but to have community members understand on how automation works.

Also show the assets configuration

And you say you specified the project name in Assets, but in automation you need to use the project ID or Key, so the full name of the project can't be used.
