Our customer wants the Approve part of a transition to be changed to Recommendation with a transition screen for comments. I need the status to Recommended or Not Recommended. Also need the text of the Approve button to change. Is this possible?

I would suggest not looking at this as an approval and as a regular workflow transition. You could have two buttons on the workflow Recommended or Not Recommended and when click they have a transition screen that requires them to input a comment. You can make a group called approvers and make it so only they can transition the request. These individuals would need a license to do this and would have to do it in the JSM application.
