Dear Community,
I created two different types of Projects. Now I want to change the Servicemanagement-Projekt into a Team-Servicemanagement-Projekt or maybe otherwise.
1. How and where can I do that?
2. What are the consequences on the existing projects? Does it has any conseqences to the created content e.g. formulars? And any functionality e.g. links and connections to the existing confluence?
3. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to the types?
Best regards
Sascha
Hi Sascha,
You cannot change the type of a Project. You have to create a new project with the type you want and then migrate the existing data to the new project.

Thanks! But there is no information regarding created formulars and workflows...Do I lose them?

Hi @Sascha Schäfers ,
If you are looking to rename the project category, then please go to admin settings --> Projects --> Project categories tab. Click Edit against the required category and rename.
This does not impact any project configurations/settings.

Hi Rilwan,
no I dont want to rename the category. I want to change the type of project...In Service Management there are two types - Team-servicemangement or not-team-servicemanagement (maybe kinda "global"-servicemanagement)
Best regards

Go to Project --> Project settings --> Details. You can change the category of the project there.
