Due to email delivery issues we had changed internal notifications sender email address as detailed here ( https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/send-notifications-from-a-custom-domain-email-address/ ) and update that one to a custom domain. However we are still having issues with customer notifications like Customer Invited/Request Created emails.
Is there a way to use custom domain for customer notifications too ? Right now customer notification emails are coming from noreply+RANDOMVALUE@id.atlassian.com and I would like to change it to something@mydomain.com
Hi @Abdullah Kor ,
I've just played with this a bit (and asked Rovo meanwhile) and it seems that customer notifications will be sent from the email that you configured under Project settings > Notifications > Internal notifications.
Support docs seem to be a bit outdated, but once you add your custom domain, you can use that too.
Anyway, I've tested it a bit and this is one system customer notification that is sent after an agent has made a reply.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Tobi
