We have a Jira service management project connected to Slack through Atlassian Assist. Today, two Canvases appeared in the channel where this connection was set up: ‘Instructions for requesting help’ and ‘Request tracking.’ No one created these, and their content does not correspond to our operations, which is causing a lot of confusion.
No human has created this content. Could it have been Assist? If so, how is it possible that it was published without any supervision, and how can we delete it? Now, a banner appears in the channel with two entries: ‘Request form,’ which is closed (padlock), and ‘Send message’... there is no longer a text bar...
Those Canvas was closed and I'm not able to access...so I can't provide the info you request...
I also have other channels integrated with Assist and they are working as always, but this in particular has changed and none of us Knows why...Changes are related to the canvas that sudenly appear but also with the way to interact within this channel since now we don't have the text bar directly visible, instead we have two new buttons: Application form (clicking on it does nothing) and send a message (clicking on it brings up the text bar).
The Canva issue has been resolved by removing the Canva tab from the channel, but I would like to:
- Remove these two buttons and bring back the text bar, as it was before.
- Know why this happened. Did one of us do something, or is it an Assist release?
Thank you!
I have a few channels integrated with Assist and have not had it generate any canvases in Slack. Can you unlock edits on the Canvas? (3 dots next to the padlock icon) if not you may need a Slack admin to assist. Once unlocked there is a "View version history" option in the Canvas which will show what account created and/or made edits on the Canvas.
