Hi all,
It seems JSM displays all fields required in the request form in the main body and won't let you display them in the details section. Is that expected and is there any way around it?
We currently mandate the priority field in the intake form during creation but in the viewing mode, we want to display it on the side.
Thank you,
Zekai
You can adjust this going Request Types > Select your Request Type > Click on "Issue View" section. You will see 3 options to Issue View
Description Fields section: This section will be display your fields in the midle of your jira issue
Context Fields section: Drag and drop the fields for this section and they will be displayed at the side on your jira screen.

I am aware of this. But adding a field to the Issue View automatically removes it from the request form. Hence I can only display it in one place, not both. And I need both.

Yeah, you're right!
Apparently the only way for you to see the fields on the right associated with the request form is using a Forms together with your portal. Which doesn't makes a lot of sense.
In this case all your fields will be able to be added on the 'Context fields' section because they will be getting by forms for your portal create screen

I am not familiar with forms. Let me experiment with it and update this ticket. Thank you, Fernando.
