I want anyone on the internet to be able to search my knowledge base, but I only want paying customers to be able to submit requests.
My knowledge base is set up for anyone to access, and when it is attached to an open portal it is searchable.
But that same knowledge base attached to a portal that requires login doesn't return articles in the search. Am I missing soemthing?
I don't want to have an empty portal with no requests and a separate portal for requests.
Hi Josh,
I ask the support team, they confirm this is not possible.
A possible workaround would be to communicate to the customer the direct link to the confluence space : for example : https://yourinstance.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/MYKB/
It works, but I definitely don’t like this view for a customer, the customer can access page history, he can access to functionalities like word export.
The support team does not provide a better workaround.
I have the same need, but I'm afraid that what you describe is the standard behavior.
