From the Slack App marketplace I added the Atlassian Rovo Slack app to our workspace. It shows up in the list of apps. However, this is pretty much where I get stuck.
I cannot perform /rovo add (or even /rovo help) from any channel in our Slack workspace. I can add Rovo using @rovo to a channel and it asks if I want to add Rovo, and I say yes and it says it is added. However, it does nothing if I reference @rovo after that.
When I do /rovo add (or /rovo help or /rovo manage) I get "This app was not able to respond to your action. Please install this Slack app" but the app is installed as far as I can tell.
What am I missing?
Have you enabled AI features for Jira within Atlassian Administration.
You could reach out to Atlassian Support
Yes, Rovo is fully enabled I believe.
I've create a couple virtual agents and it works well within Atlassian itself
I have Rovo connected to Confluence and Jira
I do not have the Slack connector set up for Rovo. As I understand it, this would be for Rovo to ingest data from Slack. That is the opposite of what I am trying to use it for. I want instead for Rovo to provide answers to questions asked in Slack channels from data in Confluence and Jira. I do not want Rovo to use the information in Slack as it is conversational and may have much misleading or inaccurate information. Confluence is the only database of record that I want to index.
When I try to run the command `/rovo help` in Slack from a public channel, I get this message
But the app is installed
Is there anything else to check to set?

Could it be based on permissions within your slack domain?
Maybe there are limitations there, as it seems the error is coming from Slack?

I uninstalled and re-installed and it worked. Thanks for the suggestions.
