Hi @Agustín Esparducer Broco ,

Some things you might check :

  • Verify Permission Scheme: Ensure that the permission scheme associated with the Jira project where JSM is set up allows customers to add attachments. Check the "Browse Projects" and "Create Attachments" permissions for the "Service Desk Customers" group or the specific customer role configured in your JSM project.
  • Check Request Type Configuration: If you have multiple request types defined in your JSM project, verify that the request type you are using in the customer form allows attachments. You can review the request type settings under the project settings in Jira.
  • Review Customer Permissions: Confirm that customers have the necessary permissions to add attachments. In Jira's global settings, navigate to "Products" > "Jira Service Management" > "Configuration" > "Customer permissions." Ensure that the "Can attach files" permission is enabled for the relevant customer permission level.
  • Check File Size and Types: Ensure that the file you are trying to attach meets any file size or type restrictions configured in Jira. If there are limitations on file size or certain file extensions, make sure the attachment complies with those restrictions.
  • Clear Browser Cache: Sometimes, browser cache issues can interfere with the attachment functionality. Clear your browser cache and try again to see if that resolves the problem.
  • Test with Different Browsers: Try using different web browsers to check if the issue is specific to a particular browser. This can help identify if there are any browser compatibility issues affecting the attachment functionality.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Our problem was this:

"Check Request Type Configuration: If you have multiple request types defined in your JSM project, verify that the request type you are using in the customer form allows attachments."
