Can someone show me AQL syntax examples for assigning to objects?

I am trying to setup import so it can reference to different object schema but need some help for the syntax.

1) Setup import for what?  (Import to create new objects within an existing object schema etc..)

2) If it is an object import, you want to the object attributes to be pulling in from another object schema in your site?
