Can project tasks be assigned to a customer

Can project tasks be assigned to a customer

Is it possible with Jira Service Desk to create a project template, say, an Onboarding Project to train new clients in our SaaS software so that the tasks within the project are a combination of Jira User tasks and Client tasks (the Client tasks would be viewed by the Client from the Client Portal and then updated when they complete their tasks). Does this functionality exist? Or, is Project Management ONLY for Jira Users/internal Agents.

No. This defeats the purpose of a client portal.

Project management templates are Jira templates - so they are for Jira users only.

Client portal is available as part of Jira Service Desk projects only.
