We are no longer able to create JIRA Tickets through email. We are getting the error message that the user can not be authenticated but the user name and password are correct and this was working a few days ago.
Please let me know how we can proceed.

Do you use the incomming mail handler or the one configured by projec that come from JSM ?
Do you know if something have change on the email provider side ? It may not support basic auth anymore and reauired to use oauth that do not seems to be supported with your version.
