Title:
Can administrators add custom attributes to users (not customers) in Jira Service Management?

Body:
In the latest version of Jira Service Management, is it possible for administrators to add custom attributes to internal users (not customers)? For example, can we create additional fields similar to custom fields that store extra information about these users? If this is supported, what is the recommended approach or configuration?

Would you like me to add a short explanation of why you need this feature (e.g., for asset management or automation) to make the question more compelling for the community? Or keep it concise as above?

Hey @田中優貴 ,

From your description, I'd recommend giving Jira user properties a try - see https://support.atlassian.com/jira/kb/display-additional-information-with-user-property-custom-field-in-jira-cloud/.

While I haven't played around with these for quite some time, this should enable you to

  1. store dditional information to users using key-value-pairs
  2. show this information in work items using the User Property custom field

However, since this seems to be a manual effort for now, I can't evaluate how well that approach scales in your scenario. Additionally, I'm not 100% sure if or how this integrates with assets and/or automation.

Regards,
Thorsten
