Is there a way to give licensed Jira users view-access to a specific assets schema? I understand the roles and permissions, but my users who have been added to the Object schema users role can't see the schema.

I have found some vague hints that only JSM-licensed users can view the Assets in Cloud (unlike Datacenter) but I can't find any definitive documentation.

The only role in Assets that do not require a JSM license is the Object Viewer role, but that only allows them to view the objects outside of Assets in a custom field that is added to Jira. In order to be able to access Assets you need to have JSM access, as described in this KB.

Thank you! I did find that article, but it appears I skimmed over the one sentence where they mention a JSM license is required.

Unfortunately this makes Assets less usable/functional than it was in Datacenter, but at least I have an answer.
