Can JIRA requests/issues be raised in JIRA and automatically associated with HubSpot contacts?

We are using HubSpot as our CRM and with the new integration it seems it’s only possible to create or associate a JIRA issue from Hubspot.

We are trying to move to JIRA ITSM to manage our support requests (they will be raised from JIRA by our customers) but we also need to see these records in Hubspot.

In short this is what we are ideally looking for:

  1. An issue/request is created in JIRA service management
  2. A record is then created accordingly in Hubspot (by finding the matching contact email)
  3. All subsequent updates with the JIRA request/issue are updated in Hubspot as well (e.g. comments, status changes etc.)

Is there a way to achieve this other than using Zapier (which would be very expensive)? Or can we somehow export a shortcut link for the customer to Hubspot which displays all the issue that customer has raised?

Hey @Jeremy Tang Michaela from Integromat here :)

If price is the only thing keeping you from utilizing Zapier, you might want to check out Integromat. It’s an automation platform that will easily let you accomplish what you’re looking for and is more cost-effective than Zapier. You can have a quick look at the pricing and see for yourself.
