I was wondering if ServiceDesk can be used as a community Q/A platform. Where either all the people in an organisation can ask questions of a project and see each other's questions and answers or the same thing but in a more private space.
do you mean like a FAQ type solution? I certainly would not choose JSD for that. Now you can certainly set it up where every new issue is broadcast to the masses by placing all customers under an Organization and enabling the (mis-labeled IMO) customer notification "Organization added". This will result in everyone in the Organization being notified when the issue is created/updated.
