Can I define new attributes for Insight from Discovery custom pattern files?

Hello. I would like to create a custom pattern file in Discovery which should get some specific information from the scanned servers. The problem is that I can't see how to define a new attribute where this information to preserve. I saw that all attributes from Insight are defined in the sealed HostInfo class.
