Can I create a custom workload report with the same information as the default workload reports?

I'm attempting to recreate the custom workload report for the following reason:

I want to be able to create a report on the dashboard for our manager to view her teams workload. Is this achievable? I've been able to create different reports and link it back to the dashboard, but haven't been able to recreate the workload report.
