Can I connect Jira Server to Confluence Data Center?

does a Jira Service Management Server work with Confluence Data Center as the knowledge base?

As under the hood server and Data Center are essentially the same product, that should definitely work.

A key thing to get things working, is to set up an application link between Jira and Confluence. For more information, see this guide.
