Really just looking to change the colors of tickets to distinguish different categories of requests that are coming in as a single Request Type from the customer portal.
Thinking the best way may be having different custom Issue Type icons and to automate changing the Issue Type based on the category selected during the request process. This would change the Issue Type icon.
Hoping someone has a different suggestion.

If you are using Company-managed project in Jira software, you can use Card colors (in the Board settings) to distinguish issues with many options like Issue Types, Priorities, Assignees, Queries.
