I have the following requirements and can't find best practice. I only want to set this up once and be scalable.
Scenario:
Internal site
Use: To be used for service issues and knowledge base documents, articles, how to vids, training docs, etc
Access: This is intended to be accessed by internal staff only
External site
Use: To allow customers to ask questions,view knowledge base documents, articles, how to vids, training docs, etc
Access: This is intended to be accessed by external customers only
Ideally both internal and external users would access the same URL. From there external users would only see their site. Internal users can see both.
Should this be 2 service management sites on the same service centre or 1 service desk site (for internal staff) and a knowledge base for external customers. Or some other combination.
@Mike Ross,
You can just create two JSM projects. One for the internal staff and one for all external customers.
External customers will only be able to see the external portal whereas internal can see both.
Thanks,
Kian
Thanks @Kian Stack Mumo Systems . That's what I was thinking but didn't want to build it out and then find out there was a better solution. Thanks again.
