Hi,
I have an automation rule which is running correctly in terms of copy existing comments from parent issue to subtask.
Now my requirement is, I want to copy all the comments from parent to subtask but I want to exclude a particular user comments.
I tried multiple smart values but not able to achieve correct..
Maybe a stupid question, but why would you want to copy all comments to the subtasks ? Why not refer the user to the comments in the main task ?
Ontopic : Which comments do you want to exclude ?
BR,
Kris
So, main task is related to onboarding and once it is approved then 5 subtasks are created and assigned to 5 different teams. In between From create to approved if there are any comments on parent then those comments are not visible.
After subtasks created, we have an automation to sync comments from parent to subtask and subtask to parent.
I want to exclude comments which are commented by automation user. Like approval reminder comments
