Automation that copes sub-task component from Parent.

Hello,

   I am trying to build an automation to where a sub-task, upon creation, will automatically mirror a specific field from the parent. In this case it would be the component.

We have an issue where components on subs are often forgotten so they should just auto receive the parent's component.

Hi @Ben Weisman 

Here's a way you can do it...

• TRIGGER: Issue Created
• CONDITION: Issue Type = Sub-Task
• ACTION: Edit Issue (Components)
  • On the ellipses, select copy from then select Parent
