Automation rule to auto populate the Organization

I want to create a rule for when the issues is created and the Affected customer is filled out it auto populates the Organizations.  How would I do this.

Thank you for your question. Populating the organization name through an automation is, unfortunately, not that easy.

I have created my fair share of automations but haven't tackled this one before.

Fortunately, the community has been around for a while and I have found this article. Populating the organization name was achieved by invoking a web request to access the API.

I haven't tested this myself but hopefully it can be of assistance to you. Please keep us updated!

@Paul Wiggers  Hi Paul, I was able to get this to work with an automation rule.  In the Issue fields condition Field-Affected customer  Condition-contains  Value-organization name.  Then in the Edit issue I chose Organizations
