Automating adding Request Participants using email addresses via Jira automation

Hi everybody,

Problem:
I'm trying to automatically assign people as Request Participants in Jira Service Management when an issue is created via a LogicMonitor integration. The problem is that I only have their email addresses, and Jira requires account IDs to add participants.

Method:
To work around this:

1. I add the email addresses to a custom label field, since I can't directly use the emails to add participants.
2. Then, I want to create an automation that does the following:
   • For each email address in the custom label field:
     1. Make an API call to fetch the corresponding Jira account ID.
     2. Add the fetched account ID to the Request Participants field.

I'm looking for help with creating this automation or any advice on a better approach to achieve this.
