Hi, I need some advice..
1. We plan to utilize the Jira Service Desk portal to handle 1:1 support from our app users. However, the challenge is to populate user agent information we collect into fields provided by Jira.
2. We are curious if there is a method to automatically fill in the information we collect, rather than relying on users to input data directly into specific fields provided by Jira.
3. While we think that it may be possible using Jira's API, we lack specific guidance on the implementation details.
We are curious about how to automatically populate the Jira fields with the user agent information we have collected. While we anticipate that this can be implemented using the Jira API, we need specific guidance on the implementation details.
Any insights or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Hi @유보람
I would recommend using a custom field to store the User Agent information and then have the tickets created through APIs. You can use the Create Issue API and populate the custom field with the user agent you collected from the user session:

Hi @유보람
What kind of information do you want to put into Jira fields?
Where is that information stored currently?
