Automatic labels to knowledge base articles from Jira SD?

If you create a KB article from your Jira SD issue, is there any way to get certain automatic labels to said article based on some of your issue classifications?

For example if your Reporter would be someone from your own organisation, the KB article (if you were to create one from that specific issue) would have an "internal" label automatically?

Could be a stupid question / example, but I'm not afraid to ask them! :D

Hi Victor,

thanks for your reply!

I know how labels work in search, but the question is if you can set up jirasd in a way that if you have a certain type of issue and want to create a KB article from within that issue, that article would automaticaly get certain, pre-determined labels?

I don't really work with jirasd that much so I might be using the wrong terms (issue etc).

Miika,

Labels in knowledge base are used in search. For example, a request is restricted with a label that reflects the request. Users will then be able to find articles that use the label tied to the request.

You can also restrict an article to labels.
