Hi, is there a way to auto assign a group of non-licensed users as participants to for a specific custom group I have created using Automation? I can do this for Watchers but not participants. This question was asked 4 years ago here so I am hoping I can now do it.
Thank you,
Nick
Hi @Nick Ignatenko ,
If you are looking for adding some users as request participants for a ticket, then in your Jira service Management project, go to project settings --> automation
Create rule with required trigger, add IF condition where you need the updates and in THEN, select Edit issue --> Request participant. Select the required users form the list.
Sample rule:
Hi,
We are using "SonarQube connector for Jira" plugin to view issues reported by our SonarQube setup on Jira dashboard. On SonarQube, it can show us the SCM author of the issues reported.
It looks good and we are able to create Jira issues by clicking on + symbol and go to Issues tab to manually assign that Jira issue to a specific user.
But it should be able to identify the author's information as per the SonarQube as well and on Jira we it should be able to 1)Auto create Jira Issue - I know this part can be automated, and 2)Auto assign issue to the author of that issue - I tried to find more info. I found the automation can be done to assign it to a list of users who are specified in the automation rule. But, I need help finding the right way to auto assign issues to the Author as similar to the "SonarQube".
Please advice.
Thanks
vsk
