Hi
I can't figure out how to get the sub tasks to auto assign to the same owner as the parent task, at the moment they're unassigned when set up, and the concern is that they'll be missed.
I set up some automations to create sub-tasks based on the labels.
I've also set up an automation to auto-assign the task to whatever user sets it up. And this works fine.
Should I be going into the automation I set up to create the sub tasks and get it to assign to parent assignee from there? Or should it be a stand alone automation?
Appreciate any help.

Thanks. This initially looks good. When you perform a test by creating a sub task under a existing task that has the assignee set what does the automation rule audit log indicate? Can you share a screenshot of that if nothing is obvious?

Thank you @Karen your technique worked for me.

@Karen Duffy , the log shows success for the most recent trigger. If you click the "show more" it should offer the details. If you look at the issue that triggered the rule is the assignee the same as the parent?
