Assign to me tab is not available anymore

Sanjeet October 26, 2020

Hi guys, I'm still quite new new to Jira and I'm facing a problem. I can't see my Assigned to me tab anymore. Is it because someone in my admin changed it or turned it off or is there some issue with Jira itself. Can someone guide me to turn it on back if it was actually turned off. Thank you in advance for any help given.

Hi Sanjeev,

where exactly are you looking. There could be quick filters on a board or you can select “Your work” on the top menu bar.

Hi @Jack Brickey I usually go to Projects > IT Operations > Queues > "Assigned to me". But unfortunately now I don’t see that tab anymore. It is usually above unassigned. I can see my Assigned to me if I go to Your Work > Assigned to me.

Ah, ok so this is actually JSD not Jira and you are talking about in Queues. My best guess is that someone (admin) removed that queue. :-(

If you have admin rights you can add it back.

  1. Click the "new queue" at the bottom of the list
  2. use the following JQL to define your filter (or something similar) - assignee = currentUser() AND resolution = Unresolved. Note: the JQL is assuming you are setting the Resolution when resolving issues. If you are not then consider this JQL - assignee = currentUser() AND statuscategory != Done
  3. define the fields and field order you wish to display
  4. save the queue

OMG Thanks a lot! This worked "assignee = currentUser() AND statuscategory != Done"
