Asset register

Hi guys,

I am trying to create an asset register in Jira. I have explored a few free apps from the market place, such as Assets and Inventory Plugin and IT Asset Management for Jira. However, the challenge I am having is that for example, with Assets and Inventory, I cannot manually assign an asset like a Laptop to a different user. I want to be able to enter in the users manually myself and be able to resign the assets from one user to another and also have an audit trail of which user used this asset (Laptop).

Any help would be appreciated.
