Asset automation rule to update attribute of linked object when an issue transition to other statu

Hello.
I want to make an automation that works this way : 

1) An issue is transitioned to another status (for example, Waiting for answer).
2) The status attribute of an asset object filled in the Jira asset field Device is updated.

I tried this automation : 

I think I do not quite understand the way AQL works because it does not seem to work.
Am I on the right way ? Do yoju have an idea of another AQL search to do that ?

So you have a field "Device" that is of the type custom field assets, correct?

Then this automation example could work

Well, it seems to work perfectly. A simple yet elegant solution.
I need to learn how to use Asset better, I really have trouble with asset smart values and variable use :D
