Asset Mgmt: Automation email inbound reference placeholder

Hello, 

     I am able to query on inbound references for my "User" object group.  Each user has multiple assets from the "Hardware" object group. I want to send an email using the Automation feature to each user that will list the asset in Hardware. I've tried various placeholders without success.
