Hey team,
I was reviewing Jira Asset Management (part of Service Management product offering) -
We have tonnes of hardware in our organization that we intend to share between colleagues. The most common use case would be:
1. Populating the Asset database with all our device inventory - different model numbers, versions, etc. In other words, highly customizable meta data associated with the inventory.
2. Users should be able to search the inventory and filter based on their requirements (essentially querying the metadata)
3. User should then be able to "reserve" the equipment for a determined period of time.
4. If equipment is already in use, user's reservation should be put into a queueing system. The queueing system should be scalable and have the concept of priorities, load distribution if reservation requirements are being met by multiple sets of equipment, visualization of the queue, queueing metrics, etc.
5. User should be able to schedule a reservation of the equipment. Eg: User wants to reserve the equipment for an available time slot 2 days from now for a period of 4 hours. The availability should be visualized to the user.

Can Jira's Asset Management solution fulfill the above use cases? If not, is there another Atlassian/Marketplace product you recommend that might?
Thanks!

Hi @Mudassar Rayani , welcome to the Atlassian Community and thanks for your post.
As an Atlassian Solution Partner, I would say it's almost certainly feasible to do all these things in Jira Service Management. I would recommend you contact a Solution Partner in your area for some practical help https://partnerdirectory.atlassian.com/
Best wishes
