Hey I want to use the addin to create the approval mails for service request with approval
and so far the trigger is done, but the context in the actual email I just can't seem to find the correct links for the approval and decline button, more specifically I cant find out how to get the unique approvalID that are created for each issue with approval in it

As per the Atlassian documentation and my experience (majorly in the cloud), the approvers receive an email when the issue enters the approval status.
If the approvers are not receiving the email, then I would suggest checking whether the Request details and Approval buttons variables have been added to the approval notifications template.

Unfortunately this do not answer my question on how to get the unique approvalID that the approvals generates to use for the Automations for JIRA addin
the standard approval flow is a bit lack luster for what fields you can add to the email, so I want to create my own email, hence I need to find out how to get this approvalID value
