Any template available to manage CAPA Processes in Jira or Jira SD?

Dear Experts,

I'm studying a CAPA system requirements. Suggestion is to use JSD where workflow needs to follow 8D (https://asq.org/quality-resources/eight-disciplines-8d) and 4M1D industry methods.

Wondering if you guys have built any similar system in past? Is there any template or guideline available? Please share your ideas or thoughts.

1. Establish your verification and validation (V&V) strategy
2. Outline your project structure, issue types and subtasks
3. Translate your SOP into a workflow
4. Map your data fields
5. Using electronic signatures
6. Spice up the workflow with a bit of ‘behind the scenes’ automation
7. Run your CAPA implementation past the end-users
8. Define public filters and create a CAPA dashboard
9. Verification and validation (V&V)
10. Rollout

For the electronic signature piece of your CAPA workflow — Sign for Jira can handle signed approvals at each stage. It includes workflow validators to enforce signatures before status transitions (e.g., ensuring root cause analysis is signed off before moving to implementation). Each signature uses a personal Signing PIN and records identity, timestamp, and reason.

Built on Atlassian Forge, so all data stays within Atlassian's infrastructure — helpful for validation documentation.
