An unspecific error message: "Something went wrong. Contact your administrator"

Hi everyone,

I hope someone can give me a hint where to look at.

I have set up a Jira Server new and keep getting the error message saying "Something went wrong. Contact your administrator".

This is what it says it is - the UI does not have any information about the error, so you will need to ask your administrators what the logs are showing.
