Adding commenters name automatically to end of coment

Hi  All 

Is there a way i can automatically add the commenters name to the end of a public Jira comment instead of having to add it manually.

yes. go to project settings > customer notifications > public comment added and edit that notification. you can insert a variable e.g.

${event.user.name} commented:

${comment}

customer notifications are configured per project individually.

What variables are at your disposal via the dropdown? Here is what I see in my Cloud instance.
