I had a question about clarifying what the "Supporting teams" field performs when adding a team to an issue.

Does it allow people that are a part of that team, the ability to see/edit and issue from within JSM and not the customer portal?

My goal is to be able to have agents with a particular team designation within a particular project be able to see an issue.

Hello @JJ DeGuzman

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

I don't think that is a field provided by JSM by default. I think that is a custom field added to your instance by your Jira Administrators.

Have you contacted your Jira Administrators to ask about the usage of that field?

Ah that makes sense.

I haven't asked my Jira Administrators about that field so it could be any guess what it performs.

Thanks so much for the response!
