Add text to an issue title via workflow

Is it possible to add text to an issue title via the workflow? For example if I check a box in an issue and them move it to finished I'd like the word LOST to be added to the end of the existing issue title. If the box is not checked off and the issue is moved to finished then the title is left alone.

not via workflow but you could consider Automation. Have you tried this?

I looked into it, but I'm not sure how to keep the existing text and add something to the end of it. I believe the field I want to change is considered the summary field.

just use the "Edit issue" action, select the Summary field and use the following syntax

{{issue.summary}} - LOST
