We're using Jira for some while now and we'd like to incorporate Service Management as well.
But right after pressing Try now, I'm getting an error message and have no option to otherwise.
How can I activate Service Management?
Like suggested in the error message, you should raise a request to Atlassian Support.

Can you try enabling Jira Service Management directly from admin.atlassian.com under the site’s Products section instead of the in-product prompt. If it still fails there, this is likely a provisioning/billing-side issue rather than a project configuration issue, so I’d capture the exact error text/screenshot and open Atlassian support.
