About jira service desk license

Our team has already have a 500 people license with jirasoftware.

And we want  to use jira service desk now.

Should we need to buy another 500 people license to collocation with jira service desk.

Please tell me the answer.

Also I want to know the rule and details about jira service desk licensing.

No you do not need to buy 500 licenses. You would buy only the number of licenses you need. You can check the pricing and packages for Server here - service-desk-pricing
