Hi all, I'm new to JIRA and have a question.

Is it possible to link the on-premises JIRA data to confluence(cloud)?

Hello @Yuri Nishijima

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You can easily link your Confluence Cloud to Jira Server Application by using Application links, as detailed in the documentation below:

Link to Server products from Cloud

The requirements to make this integration work are:

  • You must have administrator permissions on both the cloud and server products
  • The product must be accessible via the ports specified in the Compare Atlassian cloud vs server page.
  • Check that the Base URL for the server product is set correctly.
  • If you want to use SSL, you need to use a valid certificate (not a self-signed certificate).
  • Your server needs to be reachable by the Atlassian cloud IP range. See Atlassian cloud IP ranges and domains for details.
  • The URL for the product must fulfill the RFC 1738 URL standards.

Once the requirements above are achieved, you can link your application by following the steps below:

  1. Navigate to your Confluence Cloud site > Click Settings in the sidebar
  2. Choose Application Links.
  3. Enter the URL of your Jira Server and choose Create new link.
  4. Use the wizard to complete setup of the application link.
