A gadget that shows number of issues commented by users.

Hi everyone. I have a filter that shows issues commented by certain group of people. Is there any gadget like "Issue Statistics" with parameter "Statistic type" like "Commentator" or something that could show how many issues were commented by every single person from certain group?

No, but I can get close.

Install the Jira toolkit add-on, and create a "participants" field.
Create a filter for "participant in membersof(<group>)"
Use that in a dashboard gadget.

It's not 100% - participants includes the assignee and reporter as well as commenter.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.

You can do this only if you create a multi user picker field that is populated when a user comments on the ticket. Or you will have to create a custom gadget for this.

Involves some development effort in either case.
