Should we see the 404 error related to https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-66862 if the user is part of the group granted in global permission to do bulk changes but not a service desk agent??
We are trying to reduce the number of agent in our service desk project so I created a group that should be allowed to do bulk changes with a non-agent role. Is this error expected?
This could be expected. A user without SD license is not allowed to bulk change sd tickets.
Transitions, Create issue and a few permissions are tied to the user.
Can’t you grant temporary SD license to the user when needed and drop it when it’s not needed?
Thanks for the quick response. So even if I change the permission settings to my project or global, bulk change, transition, etc. won't work? Only way is to give then SD license?
These users need to transition tickets for change management approval workflow.

@Gayle Pasia I would believe so.
The whole idea of a service desk project is to allow only agents work and move tickets around while others are able to add comments only.
